At WFIA, we are intimately involved and continuously engaged in the ongoing flow of decision making. Our Government Affairs Committee is actively involved in the political process of legislation, regulation and politics affecting the grocery industry.

Committee Action
Our GAC sets legislative priorities and course of action politically. Members meet regularly, especially during the legislative session. WFIA's two registered lobbyists have a combined experience of over 30 years on the 'inside' of the legislature and state agencies, having held numerous key advisory positions at numerous state agencies. They provide timely, credible and proven effective representation on issues directly affecting our industry when laws and regulations are made and changed.
