| WFIA WORKERS' COMP RETRO ADVISORY COMMITTEE 2011-12 |
Washington State law permits associations to sponsor workers’ compensation retrospective rating programs. This law specifies that the sponsoring association and its board of directors is responsible for the financial and legal integrity of its program as the sponsor. Washington Food Industry Association sponsors such a workers’ compensation retrospective rating program as a premiere service for voluntary use by its members. The WFIA Retro Advisory Committee provides the necessary expertise to guide the Plan Director and a third party administrator in the technical elements of a successful Workers’ Compensation Retrospective Rating Program.
