A list of Federal and State Guidelines, Protocols, and Proclamations
The Washington Department of Health is the main agency fighting COVID-19. The Washington State Department of Health established a call center to address questions from the public. If you have questions about what is happening in Washington, or how the virus is spread, please call 1-800-525-0127. Phone lines are currently staffed from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m, seven days a week. Please note that this call center can not access COVID-19 testing results. For testing inquiries or results, please contact your health care provider.
As the COVID-19 impacts how we live and work in location throughout Washington State, workers’ compensation, workplace safety and health and paid sick leave may come into play for both your business and employees.
ATTN Minor Workers: Since this time away from school we are currently experiencing is not able to be considered a non-school week, any business that wishes to work minors for additional hours would need to apply for a variance. If you need further clarification or have additional question regarding minor work you can email them to TeenSafety@lni.wa.gov.
There are changes in transportation at the federal, state, and local level. Please see resources below on changes that may affect you and your employees.
